Review: I got the Spectra System to try to help with my acne because it was driving me crazy, and I wanted to look great for my high school prom this year. I did a lot of research online and talking to dermatologists over the winter before I finally decided to give the Spectra Skin Care a try. I got my mom to sign up for the free trial so we could try it out before I had to spend any money on it.
You get two weeks to try out the face cream and cleanser to see if your acne will react positively to it. I can tell you this – nothing in the past really worked for me. I tried Clearasil, Oxy, all of those, and even ProActiv Solution that I saw in the mall… but my acne kept coming back. It was something that really drove me crazy the past couple of years because it hurts the self-esteem.
So with the Spectra system, you have two products. The first one is a cleanser, which obviously you use to clean your face. I found that this was the best part of the system, it really leaves you feeling clean and definitely like it cleaning deep into the pores of the skin without having to use a scrubbing pad or anything like that. The second part is Spectra Clear, which is their gel solution that you use to help deal with the oil production and bacteria in your facial skin that actually cause the acne.
I think that the gel is where the magic happens – you can almost feel it working on your face skin to stop the acne production. It took about five days for me to start to notice an impact when using this, but slowly and surely my acne started to disappear until I had an almost clear complexion. I say almost clear because I have some scarring but I will have to deal with that another way. I don’t know how to upload pictures here but if you go to their website you will see some before and after pictures of people.
I use the Spectra Skin Care System every single day – it’s worth its weight in gold to me. I am going to stop using it next year to see if my acne returns, as my dermatologist said that it should be gone by age 19 or 20. We’ll see!!

Review: Without question, the two buzz words that have shaken up the beauty industry in the past year have been “acai berry” and “resveratrol”. Okay, three words. It was only a matter of time before a company combined them into a skin cream, and today we’re going to take a look at Radical Skincare’s powerful new serum product that delivers a true antioxidant punch.
One of the amazing features of Radical Skincare is the insane amount of antioxidants they have managed to cram into a bottle. For those of you a bit out of the loop, antioxidants are the molecules provided by resveratrol and acai which help slow the oxidation or “aging” of your skin molecules.

We ordered up the free trial bottle to check out Radical Skincare and see how it feels. It’s an excellent skin cream, and works very well as a tightener. The serum glides on to your face (and neck) without leaving any film or oily grease, and it has a pleasant scent. One of the areas we’d love to see is some additional scents offered through the Radical Skincare line, as many people have their own preference when it comes to scent.
Without question, you will notice the effects of using the Radical Skincare serum pretty quickly. After a few days, the tightening of wrinkles around the eyes and mouth was noticable, however we’d of course recommend that if you like Radical Skincare, that you use it daily for a few months before you really judge it. If you’re going to use an antioxidant serum, you might as well use this one as it does the job and really packs in the antioxidants.
Because of it’s amazingly high antioxidant count, pleasant usage experience and great customer service (returning the trial was VERY easy, which says a lot as many times returning these free trials is insanely tough) we’re happy to give Radical Skincare a 5 out of 5 rating – the highest review rating we’ve awarded to date.
